My name is Manon. I read and write and review in San Diego, California.
Founded in 2021, the Cluesletter is my biweekly email newsletter for my fellow literary detectives. Each issue includes mystery-related news, new releases, podcasts, eBook deals, and an interview with a featured author. To learn more and sign up, click here.
You can find me on TikTok (@mysterymanon), Instagram (@mysterymanon), and now YouTube (@mystery_manon), as well as on Bindery, Goodreads, and Storygraph. Previous partnerships have included HarperCollins, Macmillan, and Penguin Random House Canada.
In 2025, I served as a volunteer for Bouchercon, the World Mystery Convention. Alongside producing social media content, I helped organize the convention’s first-ever Influencer Mixer, hosting over 30 book influencers, industry professionals, and mystery authors with the goal of increasing online buzz for the event.
My writing has appeared in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine. Look for “Kanab Noon” in the January/February 2025 issue’s Department of First Stories.
My day job is as Publishing Operations Manager for AuthorImprints, helping self-published authors create and promote their books. Check out our new workbook Before the Launch, on sale now.
I am a member of San Diego Professional Editors Network, the Independent Book Publishers Association, the Alliance of Independent Authors, Publishers & Writers of San Diego, and Sisters in Crime. I hold a degree in Art History with a minor in French from Chapman University, which I credit for my obsessions with beautiful books and the Chicago Manual of Style. As for the mystery obsession, I can only blame Trixie Belden, Nancy Drew, and my own nosy inclinations.
